Balika Sawasakti Programme
- B.S.P was conducted from 9.2.04 to 8.3.04.
- To create awareness among the community towards girls education.
- Identified 40 villages from low girl child enrolment gram panchayats in the agency 9 mandals except Y.Ramavaram mandal.
- Identified 3 schools from each gram panchayat total -117 schools.
- No.of OSC girls in the identified villages - 212
- No.of girls enrolled in the identified villages during BSP -94
- No.of mothers felicitated @ 2 in each GP on the International Women's Day i.e.8.3.2004.
Activities Conducted During The Programme
- Prabhat Bheries
- Motivation camps
- Medical Checkup for girl children
- Competition for mothers of OSC.
- Displayed MEENA documentary CD in the identified GPs on 8.3.04.
Ashram School For Girls Children
Altogether 6 Residential Ashram Schools and one T.W.Residential High School are functioning exclusively for girls in the Janashala 7 Mandals.
