- Organized Assessment Camp for Disabled children at Rampachodavaram on Dt.8-7-2002 by the Janshala, East Godavari, Rampachodavaram in collaboration with ALIMCO, Bubaneswar.
- The number of children assessed in the camp are 89. From among them 26 childrens were recommended with equipment.
- As per the assessment data, a RBC for Disabled children was planned and it was allowed to incorporate in the Annual plan of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan.
- Further at 3 venues in the district, the SSA has organized Assessment Camps in which the number arrived to 105. Efforts are on for opening the exclusive RBC for disabled under the SSA.
1. Vidya Melas
In the agency area habitations are interior and remote surrounded by hills / hill streams lack of suitable transportation.
To eradicate superstitions / soial evils / 17 Vidya Melas are conducted 3 Foot Marchers are organized to interior places - Which are reached only on foot covering a distance of 15 to 20 K.m.
